- 5:00 to 5:30 - Wagner Society Business meeting
- 5:30 to 6:00 - "What fascinates you about Wagner's Operas?" The new "Tristan" at Bayreuth! -- Discussion led by Dr. David Cline
- 6:00 to 6:30 - Social time with refreshments
- 6:30 to 7:15 - Tenor, John Robert Lindsey
- 7:15 to 9:00 - Dinner, dessert, and continued socializing

Beef Rouladen - 2 classic beef rolls with bacon, carrot, pickle and mustard, served in brown gravy with spaetzel noodles and red cabbage

Pork Paprika Schnitzel - 2 lean slices of pork served in a bacon, onion, sour cream and paprika sauce with spaetzel and red cabbage

Vegetable Strudel with sauce and salad

Apple Strudel - Sugared & spiced fresh apples, raisins, and sliced almonds are rolled in a crisp, handmade flaky strudel dough, served with fresh Pride of Main Street whipped cream

Black Forest Torte - Black Forest's version of Schwarzwalder Kirschtorte is four layers of chocolate cake with cream cheese filling and kirsch-flavored cherries between the layers, topped with fresh whipped cream

Tenor, John Robert Lindsey
Known for his intense characterizations and expressive vocal ability, tenor John Robert Lindsey is a dynamic singing actor. A graduate of the Resident Artist Program with Minnesota Opera, he performed in 14 productions over 3 seasons. Past engagements include Third Jew in Salome was Opera San Antonio and Dallas Opera, Nick in La Fanciulla del West with Minnesota Opera, Marvin Heeno in the world premiere of the revised Dream of Valentino by Dominic Argento, Malcolm in Macbeth, Count Elemer in Arabella, Edmondo in Manon Lescaut, Ismaele in Nabucco, Jonathan Dale in the Pulitzer Prize winning production of Silent Night by Kevin Puts, Don Jose in Carmen, Sam Polk in Susannah, and the character of Stage Manager in Our Town by Rorem. Notable covers include Ben Marco in The Manchurian Candidate (for which he also sang two major workshops), Dick Johnson in La Fanciulla del West, Des Grieux in Manon Lescaut, Matteo in Arabella, and MacDuff in Macbeth. His concert repertoire has included Tenor Soloist in Verdi's Requiem, Parables by Robert Aldridge and Herschel Garfein, the Mozart Requiem, the Mozart Mass in C Minor, and Messiah by Handel. Upcoming seasons include a return to Minnesota Opera and debuts with Des Moines Metro Opera, Opera San Jose, Michigan Opera Theater, and the San Antonio Symphony.
